#106 Saturday – Woven Connections

Instructor: Mary Hettmansperger – Peru, IN Using copper sheeting and a variety of fiber stitching and weaving techniques, students will create unique jewelry. Patinas, wire techniques, and design approaches for a wide range of jewelry will be included, as well as earrings, broaches, and necklaces. Cold connections, low‐tech metal techniques, and endless embellishing techniques will also be given. Dimensions of the project: varies Materials & preparation fee: $48 All Levels Tools needed: Metal shears, bench block, bent nose pliers, needle nose pliers, wire cutters, hammer (ball peen hammer is great)
